Why Costa Rica ?
Costa Rica is ouf first expedition in Latin America. We wanted to enter this natural and wild part of the world in peaceful latitudes. What would be a better option than Costa Rica? The climate is simply amazing and the variety of landscapes is unmet in the other countries of the zone. The country is extremely safe, which was a non negotiable requirement for us.
What are the accommodations?
We want this trip to be as diverse as possible, as it is one of the big strengths of this country. We decided to make an itinerant trip with no base camp, contrary to some of our other trips. It is also a way to mingle with the local population. In this trip, we alternate 5 nights in hotel & ecolodges, with 2 nights in mountain huts, that are one of the signatures of our trips, the best way to build a good team.
What’s included in the trip cost?
The trip price includes pre-trip communication, airport transfers from/to San Jose, all accommodations during the trip, all meals (BLD) & snacks, hot beverages & juice with breakfasts, water and some local snacks for the runs. Transportation, drivers, experienced guides, for organized & supported runs and an Albera Expeditions hat. To sum up, pretty much everything is provided between San Jose & San Jose ! For travelers wanting to discover the rest of the country, we will provide you with some useful tips, do not hesitate to ask !
What isn’t included in the trip cost?
The cost does not include your flights to/from San Jose & travel insurance. Why ? Because runners are coming from all around the world, and everyone will have a different schedule and travel expectations. However, if needed, we can set you up with a local travel agency that will provide you exactly what you’ll need.
